When and where can I pick up library materials I've requested?

After you make a request, you will receive an email from the Library telling you that your materials are ready for pickup. Because staff currently have limited access to library facilities, this notification may be delayed several days. In addition, if someone else has the item checked out when you make your request, it must be returned and quarantined for 72 hours before you receive notice that it is ready for you.

You can always check the status of your requests in your library account.

When

Starting January 19, 2021, materials may be picked up on Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Where

Please enter campus from College Oak Drive near the stadium/parking garage.  Follow the signs indicating ARC PICK UP to the Portable Village near Davies Hall and the ARC PD Station.

Staff will be available to safely approach your vehicle to retrieve the items you are returning.  Please be prepared with a mask and your ID.

Safety Reminder

Please do not come to campus if you have a cough or fever or have been in contact with anyone who is sick.

Please follow these safety guidelines:

  • Wear a face covering. This is a statewide mandate and a Los Rios requirement.
  • If you must sneeze or cough, do so into a cloth or tissue. If those are not available, use your elbow.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
