Can I renew the Chromebook I have checked out from the library?

If you have checked out a library Chromebook and you will need it for the upcoming semester, you may extend the loan under these conditions:

  • You must be enrolled in at least one class at American River College for the upcoming semester. 
  • You must contact the ARC library to request an extension of the Chromebook loan. Please provide the library with a copy of your class schedule for the upcoming semester. 

You can call the ARC Circulation Desk at (916) 484-8455, or email the library. Please leave your student ID number and a phone number to call back.

It is not recommended to use library chat since many operators will not be able to help with this request.
