Can I renew the Chromebook I have checked out from the library?

  • If you are not enrolled in classes for the following semester, then the device cannot be renewed and it must returned to the library.

  • Renewals can only occur after the current semester has ended, and the library has received an updated list of enrolled students for the following semester from the District.

    • For example, if you have a Chromebook checked out for Summer session, your Chromebook cannot be renewed for Fall semester until Summer courses have officially ended.

  • All Chromebooks will be automatically renewed by staff if students are enrolled in courses.

    • For example, this automatic renewal will likely occur a week or two before Fall semester officially starts depending on when the library gets an updated list of enrolled students for Fall from the District.
