When is my library book due and how do I return my Chromebook or library materials while the library is closed?

Due Dates

When

Loan periods may be 3 days, 3 weeks, or 1 semester. Please check your library account for accurate due dates. Directions listed lower down on this page under "How."

  • Semester loans are due back on the last official day of the semester (e.g. the last day of finals).

Students who are graduating or are not re-enrolling in a LRCCD course for Summer sessions, are required to return all devices or materials checked out in the previous Spring semester. For example, if you checked out materials in Spring 2023, and do not enroll in classes in Summer 2023 you would need to return all library devices and materials by the last day of the Spring 2023 semester.

  • To find out when your items are due, please sign into your My Library Account
    • Located on the top right corner of the library's OneSearch page and on the library homepage menu.
    • Or, call the library Research Help desk at (916) 484-8458. Please leave a voicemail with your student ID and a number to call back.

Returning Materials

Due to maintenance issues the ARC Library is currently closed. Returns can be made in person during open hours at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), 24/7 in our book drop located outside the library, or by mail.

Please return Chromebooks and hotspots in person at the LRC. Graphing calculators, textbooks, or other library books can be returned on campus in person or in the book drop.

If you cannot come to the ARC campus you can mail library items to:
