Unfortunately, no. There are too many variables related to FTE (e.g. number of units, lab vs. lecture hours, etc.) that make offering reassign time unrealistic. This is a short-term program, which is currently scheduled to end after the spring 2026 semester with deliverables in place for the fall 2025 or 2026 depending on when you apply.

There is potential release time available for full-time faculty who are writing a brand new OER from scratch in subjects/disciplines where there are currently limited or no OER options (example: Automotive).
