What kind of computers are in the CRC Library and what software programs are available?

The library and adjoining library computer lab have more than 80 desktop computers for student use.  They use the Windows 10 Operating System and all of them have USB ports, DVD drive and audio jack for headphone listening. Headphones may be borrowed at the circulation desk if you need them.

All of the computers are connected to a network printer for black & white or color document printing.

Library computers are set up with the following programs

  • The web browsers Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox
  • Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Adobe Acrobat

Users are not allowed to install other programs.

Some specialized software used for computer technology or other classes are available in the Campus Computer Lab located in LRC 204.  Business, Accounting, Foreign Language & other departments also have computers specially configured for their students.  Check with instructors for more information.
