Gift items will be accepted with the understanding that there are no limiting conditions. Gifts will be added to the collection using the same criteria that are used for evaluating materials for purchase. Unused gifts may be sold, donated elsewhere, or discarded. The Library will acknowledge the receipt of gifts with a letter when requested by the donor, but the monetary value of the gift will not be determined by the Library. This is the responsibility of the donor.
