I need a Chromebook to complete my coursework. What should I do?

Borrow a Chromebook from the Library

The CRC Library lends Chromebooks to currently enrolled students.

  • Students who need a Chromebook for spring 2026 may request one through OneSearch beginning January 12th. Check back here for a request link. 
  • Students who need a Chromebook for fall 2025 may borrow a 1-day Chromebook visit the Circulation desk in the Library for assistance. You may also use the library desktop computers, or the campus computer labs. 

Chromebook loan details

  • Chromebook supply is limited and they are loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Chromebooks are loaned for the semester and are due on the last day of the semester.
    • Note: If you are enrolling in an upcoming semester and want to keep your Chromebook longer, contact the Library for assistance.
  • Students are responsible for the replacement cost of damaged or lost equipment.
  • Chromebooks are loaned with a charger. Students are responsible to return the charger with the device.
  • Chromebooks may be available to students enrolled in an eligible support program. Connect with support services using the Hawk Connections form.
