Q. How can I resend an Alma notice to a user?
Resending Alma Notifications
Occasionally, a patron may have a question about a notice that they received from Alma, or they may want another copy of the notice for their records. Alma notices are saved in the User Record on the Attachments tab. Staff may view and or resend notifications to a user upon request.
On the Alma home page, select the "User" index in the search menu.
Search for the user by name or student ID number. Find the user.
Select the more action button “…” and choose Edit. OR Click on the user's name.
Select the Attachments tab to view the notices sent to the user. Notices will be listed with the notice title, date the notice was sent, etc.
Select the more actions menu [...] for possible actions. Note: It's recommended that you view the notice before resending it to the user to ensure that you've selected the correct notification.
Note: If you have a question about why a particular notification was issued, contact the system administrator for your Library.
