How can I include data such as barcodes from a spreadsheet in an Analytics filter?

Answer

When creating an Analytics report you might want to filter your results to a particular set of items, users, etc., using MMS IDs, barcodes, primary identifiers etc. Assuming these IDs are in a spreadsheet column, you can copy the values and paste them into the filter.

First, when editing the filter, click the magnifying glass in the value area.

In the Select Values dialog that shows next, click the edit (pencil) icon.

The right-hand text box will now be editable. Paste the values in and click OK. Your values will now be in the filter to be included in or excluded from the report.
