Why can't I sign in to my digital textbook?

Our digital textbooks usually have a maximum number of simultaneous users. So if that limit has been reached, and you have signed in to OneSearch, you will be given the opportunity to add yourself to a waitlist, but you won't be able to access the textbook immediately.

If you have gone through the Los Rios Single-sign-on process but still don't see the access links, this indicates that your library account is not current. This can happen:

  • during the semester, if you have not yet completed enrolling in any courses (including paying applicable registration fees)
  • between semesters. When the semester ends, your library account expires, and you're no longer able to access digital textbooks. If you are enrolled for the next semester, access will be restored about two weeks before the start of the next semester.
