Dual-enrollment students are, in the services they can access, no different from other students. As a dual-enrollment student you have full access to library borrowing, databases, and so on.

Since dual-enrollment students are younger than most other students, there are a few things to bear in mind.

• To loan out materials, the Library requires official photo ID. If you do not yet have a driver's license, consider getting a Los Rios Student Access Card or a California Identification Card.
• The Library will not allow your parents, guardians, relatives, or friends to borrow materials on your behalf.
• If you have questions about your loans, you must discuss them with Library staff yourself; the Library does not share student circulation transactions with third parties, unless the student specifically authorizes it.
• While dual-enrollment students have full library privileges, they don't have heightened privileges; the Library will not make exceptions to policies simply because a student is younger.
• Library materials include books and videos that some consider inappropriate for minors. The Library does not limit or censor its collection to suit younger patrons.
