How can I return library materials when the Library is closed?

Library Return Box

Use a library drop box to return materials anytime. Returns can be accepted 24/7. However, allow time for returned materials to be cleared from your library account (1-3 days during the semester; 1 week during intercessions).

The boxes are located

At the East Entrance near the Winn Center
Near the South Entrance, on the way to the library lockers in the Business and Social Science building
At the West Entrance near the Art Gallery and Recital Hall
On the north side of the Library building

Important: Do Not Return Rented Textbooks to Library Drop Boxes

If you paid money to the CRC Bookstore to rent a textbook, these must be returned to the bookstore and not the library drop boxes. Check the CRC Bookstore Website for hours and return instructions.

Return Reminders:

Drop your items through the slot into the box.
Allow time for returned materials to be cleared from your library account (up to 1 week).
Library materials may also be returned inside during library open hours.

If you are returning a Chromebook or laptop:

You do not need to return the Chromebook or laptop in the original box, as it may not fit in the return box.
The Chromebook or laptop will not be damaged by dropping it in the return box. There is a safety mechanism in the return box to prevent damage.
Please return the charging cable with the laptop.
