After you make a request, library personnel will locate your materials and place them on hold inside the library or in a pickup locker. If your materials are coming from a different library, the materials will first need to be transferred to Sacramento City College, which can take a few days.
When your materials have been located, you will receive an email from the Library telling you that they are ready for pickup.
You can always check the status of your requests in your library account.
If you requested pickup via the library lockers, please see How do I pick up books from SCC's library lockers?
When
Materials may be picked up during library open hours.
Where
Materials currently on the hold shelf may be picked up at the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the Learning Resource Center.
You will need to present a Student Access Card or another form of picture ID such as a drivers license or California Identification Card. If you don't have a Student Access Card, please be ready to tell staff your student ID number, which is also used to access SCC online services such as Canvas and eServices.
Safety Reminder
Please do not come to campus if you have a cough or fever or have been in contact with anyone who is sick.
Face coverings (covering your mouth and nose) are strongly recommended for accessing any on-campus facilities.
